As per AICTE Mandate and AKTU academic calendar an Induction Program was organized with the aim to train incoming undergraduate students well in the branch/department to have a holistic outlook, and to have a desire to work for national needs and beyond. The graduating student must have knowledge and skills in the area of his study. However, he must also have broad understanding of society and relationships. Character needs to be nurtured as an essential quality by which he would understand and fulfill his responsibility as an engineer, a citizen and a human being. Besides the above, several meta-skills and underlying values are also needed.

The FDP aims to explore the technical aspects, contemporary applications and research opportunities in Formal Methods and Formal Languages in the field of core Computer Science. Faculty will get trained on basics of formal methods and formal languages in various domains. The FDP will increase the horizon of faculty in the area of formal methods and inspire to identify research problems and pursue their research work.
