The program of Mechanical Engineering at GL BAJAJ Group Institutions, Mathura was established in 2009. It provides a strong foundation for the overall growth and development of the students by enriching them with technical, analytical, quantitative, reasoning, ethical & linguistic qualities. There is a pool of well qualified and experienced faculty having backgrounds from IIT, NIT and other nationally and internationally recognized institutes in various research areas including Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Method, Smart materials, Composite Materials, Alternative fuels and its Exhaust gases analysis etc.
As a part of B.Tech. curriculum, prescribed by AICTE, the department has Thermodynamics and Applied Thermodynamics lab, Fluid Mechanic lab, Dynamics of Machines lab, CAD/CAM lab, Material Science lab, Manufacturing Science and Technology lab, Heat & Mass Transfer lab, Measurement & Metrology lab, Fluid Machinery lab, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning lab, Automobile Engineering lab, Machine Design lab, Engineering Mechanics lab, Workshop Practice lab and Drawing Hall. For bridging the gap between industry and academia, the department had initiated Excellence Centre for the development of skills among the students by providing Personality Development Classes.
Our students have been selected for Natural Science Project. Students also participated in various National Level Events such as Go-Kart Championship and various design competition organized by IIT’s & NIT’s.
